Levonorgestrel

Hi!
This is my third blog and I will talk about Levonorgestrel. The Levonorgestrel is a contraceptive drug used for prevent pregnancy. The debate over preovulatory and postovulatory effects of levonorgestrel in emergency contraception seems endless.
The doctor Carlos Valenzuela´s speech was very interesting, because it is a polemic topic today and a debate endless between the church and the scientific society. Also this topic is very important for me, because it has directly related with my career and my future professional as midwifery. In the future I will have that attend to woman for different reasons and one of these reasons will be the family planning programs.
In the family planning programs my work as midwifery is give information about the different alternatives of drug contraceptives and method anticonceptive. In this point is important the doctor Carlos Valenzuela´s speech that talk about the Levonorgestrol as a drug emergency contraception discarding its abortive action.
The paper of the doctor Carlos Valenzuela about postovulatory effects of Levonorgestrel in emergency contraception it is not very clear as the speech about the same subject. I understood better the research paper, because the speech of Doctor Carlos Venezuela was clear and simple, also he made graphics on the board and showed others similar investigations.
The point of view of the doctor Valenzuela is that the Levonorgestrel is not abortive, because this pill has no effect on embryo implantation in the uterus. The Levonorgestrel stop the cycle of the embryo in the Fallopian Tubes and of this way prevents a pregnancy.

Valdivia town =)

This is my second blog and in this opportunity the subject of blog is free. So, I will write about my last holiday with my family in the south of Chile specifically in Valdivia city.
We travelled in a bus to the Valdivia city, the bus take 6 hours in arrived to the place. We travelled in the night to arrive in the morning. We were in cousin´s house and after we rented house in the center of Valdivia city.
Valdivia city is a historic place and today there are very places that remember battles and wars lived in other times. In these historic places you will found museums, many parks, typical foods, crafts and beautiful places with abundant nature, lakes and rivers. If you visit Valdivia city you will be able see the marine animals in the street and you will be able take pictures. Also if you visited Valdivia city, you would find the best beer of Chile called “kunstmann” and you would assist to “the feast of the beer”. In February you can enjoy of the “Valdivia week”, in this week there are different activities as concerts, theater, fairs of typical foods and crafts and fireworks in the last day of week.
The people that live in Valdivia city are very nice and cheerful. The principal economic activity in this city is the fishing and tourism.
If you travelled to Valdivia city, you would visit many historic places and you would eat many typical foods.

First of all, I want give the welcome to new students of English course in this new experience of blog.
In this opportunity I will write about my favorite book, the truth is that I have not one favorite book, because I love read and I have various favorite books.
Well, today I will write about a book very special and funny, the book is “La vuelta al mundo en 80 días”, this book was written by a French writer called Julio Verne. I liked so much this book because the story is very funny and the description of landscape is very beautiful.
This book relates the adventures of Phileas Fogg and his servant Picaporte when both decide to go around the world in a time of eighty days, to win a bet. For realize this big travel Phileas and Picaporte used differents transportations as trains, ships and elephant. During this long journey the two friends visited many countries and places. I won't tell you the end of the book, to give you the chance of read this great book full of adventures and experiences.

I read this book in the subject of language and communication when I was in 8° grade of the primary school. I recommend this book to all the people, because this book is very funny and exciting, also is a good book for children because tells funny stories and describes features about many places of the world.
I invite everyone to read this fun and interesting book.

This is my last blog and in this opportunity I will talk about my blog experience in the blog.
The blog was a good experience, because I learned news word and vocabulary that will help me in my labour future as midwifery and also for improve my writing.
Vocabulary is an essential tool for communicating with people from different countries, because English is a universal language.

The topics of the blogs were related with our career and our labour in the future. In my blog I did write about topics as my ideal job, education and prevention in my profession, gender role in health care, my future as a midwife and my favourite subject in career. The topics of blog were interesting and difficult in some situation.

The experience of the blog was difficult, because in many situations there is that used the imagination for write about the topics, but also the experience of the blog was easy because we used the internet tool for search words and also for search meaning words.

The English is very important for our future labour and for communicate with the people of different countries; also the English will help me for help the people round the world.

My Ideal Job

Hi! This is my eighth blog.

In this opportunity I will write about MY IDEAL JOB.
My ideal job as a midwifery in the future will be placed in a locality of the south of Chile, because there is few resources, professionals and health centers in that locations, also the people that live in this locations needs more help.
With respect to the health system (public or private) I would like to work in the public system, because that system it’s usually collapsed by the people that needs more and better attention, for that people that don’t have money to go to the private system.
The position that I want to have is in neonatology, taking care of the babies directly, giving education to the new parents for the cares of the babies. Another reason for why I want to work with the babies directly is because they are so fragile and smalls, they are so cute and need very much cares. The responsibility in neonatology and in the other specialities in works related with the health is very high because all of we, will work with the people, taking care of them, educating them, and finally guiding they to have a better health and life style.

The schedule that I want to have is from the morning to the evening as in every work, I want to assist patients that needs help, and that don’t have the resources to go to the private system, because they are the most beautiful people and they are very nearby and friendly. About the buildings, I think that isn’t important, we can give a good work in every place, isn’t necessary to be in a hospital, or in a polyclinical, all we need is the desire of give to the people the best of we have.

A love story

Hi! This is my seventh blog
In this opportunity I will write about a love story.
Alex was very sick when decided end with His girlfriend, she was very sad for this, because both were very happy together. Alex and Francisca were friends when they fell in love. Francisca was a beautiful woman and Alex always was very nice with people. They were a couple really united in all aspect. They lived together until the summer when Alex’s doctor told him that he had a disease. Since that day Alex began to feel bad and decided end with his girlfriend for so she will not suffer with this.
Francisca never thought that Alex had a terminal disease and that this will end with his life. When she asked to Alex for his disease he did not say anything and he said that this was the right thing.

One day Francisca and an Alex’s friend spoke about of the disease of Alex and he said that the disease of Alex was very harmful for his health and his days of lives were counted. She cried every day and she said that Alex was the love of her life.
Francisca went to saw Alex and she said that can´t leave him in this moment and that she will stay with him every days of his life, Alex answered that she was all in his life and that he only was a chapter in her life, and he said that after his gone she don’t be afraid of have another love.

Hi everyone! This is my sixth blog.

In this opportunity I will write about education and prevention in my future profession as midwife and also about of topics as health on education, ways of prevention, kind of people to educate, how to educate and needs of the Chilean people.

In my profession is very important the education in the people for prevent situations that damage health of the persons. The midwifery should ensure care of the woman and the fetus giving information and helping to the persons

The topics in health education in my profession are sexuality, contraceptive methods, prevention sick of sexual transmission, the importance of the lactation, care and nutrition of pregnancy, care of newborn and the prevent of sick in the women.

The ways for prevent is giving information and education to the people and encourage to the persons mainly women for attend control of his health every time needed. Is very important to prevent deliver education to the people more young, because these are more exposed to risk factor that could affect your health. Another factor for considered in the prevent is the early sexual initiation in the young, this situation could be dangerous without prior education.

The needs of Chilean people are the economic resources that very often are not enough for cover the demands in health.
